  2. All that cholesterol from the eggs and cream are not good for your heart. People who eat like this are the ones who look like they are in top shape and then drop dead from a heart attack.

  9. Hey Tim, I am 46, 5'8" and was at a whopping(ya, lotsa whoppers) 205lbs(about 29% body fat) last December 25th 2017. I did the 3 day fasting once a month from Dec.2017-April 2018 and cut my carbs intake by about 80%. January 14th I weighed in at 194lbs(27.2%body fat). Feb. 24th, weighed in at 183(24.5% body fat). Last weigh in April 7th @ 173.8lbs(20.7% body fat). Currently floating between 182lbs. And 184lbs, while Working on strength and flexibility. Just wanted to share👊🏽

  10. How about this: GET YOUR HEART RATE UP, stop doing mediocre style cardio workouts. You should be huffing and puffing for air. You can eat well all you want, but if your body is not stressed OUT from 175+ BPM interval cardio….Then good luck..

  11. So… I wake up at 6 am to go to gym at 7 am.. don't feel like having all that food in my stomach before class… I usually go on an empty stomach and have breakfast as soon as I come back..so like 2.5 hours after getting up..🤷🏻‍♀️.. I don't struggle w my weight but my husband does.. so I make him a protein shake w 30 gr of protein and we hit the gym then we do breakfast together.. maybe he shouldnt have more food after that shake? 🙈😵

  13. Daily eggs definitely a bad idea that will show up in the arteries over time. Especially if the yolk is cooked. Plus lots of estrogen in eggs so bad for men- down regulates testosterone. I’ve always felt ferriss did drugs for 4HB because with all his labs and tests he never showed his blood tests.

  14. Broscience. Thermic effect of food is pretty bogus (maybe you burn 10cals more a day) but beans and greens good for breakfast because plant protein and fiber and micronutrients are always beneficial. Full fat cream is stupid. What happened to that thermic effect? That’s 150cals. Cinnamon is good. Just black coffee and cinnamon. I also find that good quality organic instant coffee in a huge container with lots of ice and cinnamon is great way to start the day and even while exercising. The instant aspect mainly because it’s effortless and also because way less caffeine than drip so drinking a liter won’t send you int heart palpitations.

  15. Maybe 'The Two Most Important Habits For Fat Loss ' should be:

    1. Eat in a moderate calorie deficit
    2. Do a few hours of some sort of resistance exercise per week

and a couple of worthwhile habits:

    3. Be consistent
    4. Enjoy the process

and a bonus habit could be – 'don't listen to any of these specifics, such as don't eat this food or don't eat after this time, before this time, or eat this type of fat, spike insulin levels, blah blah blah.

I think Tim is brilliant, but his nutrition advice is misleading.

  17. I did slow carb 2 years, does work to a a point but feel much healthier, more energy and even leaner on a high carb low fat plant based diet with unlimited calories. Oh and now I can can pound hills on a bike where as before I could only lift a few weights. Depends what you want try both and see…
